These are great classic barber shears — well made, of good steel, with excellent edges, for shear and comb work. I am a traditional barber doing clipper cuts, mainly tapers and fades, with these shears for the topping and sides (Be careful! Watch those knuckles!) and this size and design work best for me. This is my third pair in 26 years, only because sharpening services aren’t what they used to be. I can barely work happily without a good sharp pair. 44/20’s are “top-drawer”! (I use the 44/20 thinning-shears too). -Dave the barber.
